Nu-Tech Engineering Services, is delighted to announce the recent acquisition of Peter Day Precision Engineering in what is a long term commitment to building a UK leading Engineering Solutions Group in Dorset.
Jim O’Neil, Managing Director of Nu-Tech commented “We are delighted to have secured such an accomplished Engineering Partner as the first of what we hope to be several strategic acquisitions and we look forward to working with Dave Causley and his team at Peter Day.
We are particularly passionate about growing our own Engineering talent in Dorset and see the range of customers served by these two businesses as an ideal background to attract the best and brightest, be they experienced Engineers or aspiring Apprentices.”
Drew Mellor, Chairman of the newly formed Venture Precision Engineering Group remarked “We have an ambitious plan to build a cutting-edge Engineering Group through a mixture of Organic and Acquisitive growth over the next few years and were very impressed with the team at Peter Day. They have continually invested in their business and like our team at Nu-Tech, are Engineers at heart.
We will now use the same approach as we have at Nu-Tech where we will continue to invest in both state of the art machines as well as people and processes.
The combined businesses which now boast over 60 skilled employees will continue to trade independently under the brands that have served each of them so well for their 30 years of existence and we believe both staff and customers will benefit from what the enhanced Group can offer. More details on the launch of the Venture Precision Engineering Group (VPEG.UK) as well as some comment on further acquisitions in the pipeline will be released shortly.”
